F7 Change questions [Archive]

Hello,

I moved from FC 6 to F7 last night and all went well except:

1. my clock on the screen is wrong and is 8 hours and 13 minutes fast. I have checked the system clock and it is fine.

2. There is now two levels of grub one with the single option of the new installation and a second one with the new, the old and windows. The file describes only the second screen.

any ideas?

I still have to do the video driver but else looks fine.

OOPs got it wrong - the time on the screen is not moving at all!!

Hello again,

Now at the end of a session an error comes up saying that I was in the session for less that ten seconds and this may indicate and error with the installation. Is this important. I think i will do a fresh installation.

There are a lot of ppl having the same problem. There is supposed to be a new kernel update to fix the issues soon....

(all the above stuff are borked for me + the wireless [DHCP] not working etc..)
