Chips version driver

Hello,

In my Xorg.conf I find following information :

Section "Device"
Identifier "Videocard0"
Driver "chips"
VendorName "Videocard vendor"
BoardName "Chips and Technologies F69000 HiQVideo"
EndSection


So I think my X server uses the driver "chips" to work.

I find my GUI is slow.

I want to verify if I have an up-to-date video driver (device driver).

But : "How can I check what versionb of the driver I am using for the moment?"
