Hello I am trying to install Fedora for the first time and when I try to install it in graphic or text mode it hangs at "serial: 8250/16550 driver $Revision: 1.90 $ 4 ports, IRQ sharing enabled" theres just a flashing line as if it wants to write something else. No error messages, any ideas?

It the kernel still running?
Try Ctrl-Alt-F2, 3, 4, 5, 6, as there are different tty's being used for different messages.
Is there anything in install.log? boot.log?
Is that really a 4 port serial add-on card? Do you have a mobo that has the extra irq's from 16 to 23?

does it create a install.log or boot.log the ctrl, alt F's didn't work and yes they're all in the motherboard.
