I installed Fedora 6 ppc on an IBM pseries eserver in the text mode. I didn't install it in graphic mode because I got the error "mini-wm: fatal io error 104". How can I configure the X windows in this mode? Here are what I have tried:

1. I typed startx and it seemed that I entered the graphic environment. But the screen is messed up.

2. I tried system-config-display, but it seems has to be done in the graphic mode.

3. I used lspci -vv and found that my VGA card is
VGA compatible controller: Matrox Graphics, Inc. MGA G400/G450

Thanks
Roy

If there is more than one port on your video card, try the other one.
