I just reinstalled FC6 for the second bloody time in the past 24 hours, and am dismayed. The first time, I had this problem a few times, but not every time I booted, and I only reinstalled it was because the Fedora website was the only one that would open. This time, however, I cannot even get to the desktop. There is a problem with xsend, and rather than just displaying [ok] when it books, it instead displays a bunch of code, and then I get a page that says [local login:] or something like that, and when I enter any character and press enter it then asks me for a password. Then the screen flickers a few times, and then this window pops up and tells me there's an error with xsend. What's up? What the hell's xsend? How do I fix this? Also, please, I'm a Fedora newbie, so I can't understand your lingo.
