View Full Version : install linux in Intel core 2 duo + 965 Motherboard

Hello,

My System is
Intel Core 2 Duo @ 1.86GHz
Motherboard - Intel DG965RY
RAM 2GB @800Mhz
HDD 80GB SATA (Seagate)

I tried to install a lot of distribution of linux like Fedora core 5, Mandriva 2006, SuSE 10 One CD version....but failed to install.

Now what should i do..?? Is there any distribution by which i will not get any problem during installation?

Please help me.. i need to install linux on my system.

Why are you playing with Fedora Core 5. It's soon to be unsupported. Download Fedora 7 and install that. I'm sure you'll have better luck.

Thanks for your help, yes fedora core 7 running fine on that system.
