Unable To Install Additional Printer

I am having problems installing a new printer. I'm running FC-6/64 bit. I go to control center & go to printer section. From there I click add printer, go through the process & click finish & get an error message: "unable to create printer. client-error-bad request" The printer is a canon s600 which there is a driver listed. Any way to add this??? Thanks, Mike

does the error happen whatever type of printer you try to add?
have you tried from cups in a browser by typing http://127.0.0.1:631
