GRUB Geom Error!

Hi, I am new to linux and i tried installing fedora 9 on my system which already has a windowsXP OS.Ater i had finish the installation, i started having problems rebooting.Every time i reboot, an error "GRUB Geom error " comes up. can some please help me solve this problem.I need to access my windowsXP BACK AGAIN.

Search for install grub on the site.
There are many posts.

Boot up with the linux dvd or rescue disc and hit the tab key to get a line command prompt (if needed)
type in
Linux rescue and follow the directions about mounting an img and log on as root.

Then follow the install grub directions.

Other wise boot up with the windows cd into admin recovery mode and do a
fixmbr and fixboot

Your Linux will be stranded so you can reinstall latter.
