I have had an annoying issue since I installed Fedora 7...
At first boot, it started in 800x600 resolution, so I choose "Generic LDC 1280x1024" as monitor (that's the native resolution of my LG L1718S) and rebooted for the change to take effect. Surprisingly, it restarted in 1280x920 resolution, so I set the screen resolution to 1280x1024.
Now, the X-server always starts in 1280x960 resolution (yuck!) and switches to 1280x1024 only once I get past the login screen.
Any idea of what I should do to correct this?
Thanks in advance,
Giacomo
