Hey,

got firestarter running now!!!!

I have read that viruses are written in a language
that linux doesn't understand, with that in mind a system running a linux os can't be infected. Is that true???? do I need a anti virus programe, can you give suggestions?

thanks

God stuff... although learning iptables is a plus when trying to understand other people's iptable scripts.

thanks Since most of the latest viruses only affect Microsoft systems with Linux you are on the safe side :) But it's not a bad idea to have some antivirus software running, check AniVir (http://www.hbedv.com/en/products/antivir_workstation/index.html) which runs on Windows and Linux. AntiVir should be running on a FC2 system since the company is located in Tettnang :D
