Lately, blogging has been a rise on the web, how many of you have your personal blog and what do you published on it?

Agree, I even use my blog for my frontpage, so it's new (almost) everyday.

I have a livejournal account also. I use it to catch up on what's happening to the people I knew from university in the UK, although I only check in every month or two because it's very mundane. I think I've posted twice in a year of having the account, and only then while extremely drunk. :)

Does anyone use a blogging program for apache on their server? I have a personal server and was looking into getting a blog that's compatible with blogtk, but i don't really like the one's on sourceforge that i've found so far. Just give me any kind of feedback, thx.

Personally, I like to use blogger.com because it store via FTP or sFTP to your own server.
When you blog, are you usually online? I am thinking of the blogtk, which runs as application. Wouldn't it be easier to just use the browser to write blog?

I use Lj because all my friends use it. I personally think Wordpress is superior.

I Semiblog. :-) I don't know if it counts.
I kinda do it all manually, and a couple of times a month write down recent experiences/events. Because I haven't got myself an automoted system, I hardly ever bother with it. I've got to manually edit my page, and upload it myself. It gets a little tedious when done often.

I use Blogger because I found it was the easiest to use to upload to my university webspace. I really don't have any need to use anything more complex. It's a great way to add tidbits of info quickly or post picture or two. Combined with Haloscan comments it can be almost a mini-forum for you and your friends. Mostly I just post news about things going on in my life, I think a lot of people are like me and have them so friends and old buddies can keep in touch.

I set up a phposoxm blog, but didn't go public with it. The thing is really simple, no database required.
I write what happened that day or whatever random thing happened to me.
