Hi, I'm trying to reinstall FC6 on my 64 bit laptop. The 64 bit dvd installer never got past the "ISOLINUX" message, except to notify me that no kernel named "linux" could be found. The 32 bit version gets slightly farther, but nothing happens after it fixes the CPU synchronization.

checking TSC synchronization across 2 CPUs:
CPU#0 had -545 usecs TSC skew, fixed it up.
CPU#1 had 545 usecs TSC skew, fixed it up.

It just hangs indefinitely at this point. What is going on? I installed FC6 correctly before, off this same DVD. What can I do? What is wrong?

I also have the same problem. Did you find a solution?

Hi, I never got the 64 bit version to install. I'm running the 32 bit version instead, installed from the DVD.
