Hi everybody !!

First of all I don't know if this is the right place to put this topic :p but I don't know where post it ..

Last week my boss bought a scsi disk array server and after check in Internet found that it's a direct attached storage server with a fiber channel connector, and a PCI fiber channel host adapter to attach the storage to another server.
I'm planning to use our server and the storage server as a backup server using Fedora but I don't know if I need to do something special in the configuration of Fedora in order to detect the external storage array or during the Fedora instalation.

I hope somebody can help me and thxs for your time .. :)

P.S. Forgive my english :p

If your fibrechannel card is supported the array should just show up as another disk when you install.

However you may have to configure the array first to set up the RAID volume. Depends on your exact hardware.
