Hauppauge Card

I am a noob! I installed fedora 6 and then found an old Hauppauge tv card and installed that to my box.
I am not even sure if fedora recognized my new hardware, I don't know where to look to see if it is working, I am used to windows just going to device manager is there something like that for fedora?

Once i figure that out then
I want to try some tv recording software.
Which is the best and easiest to use.
I saw myth tv and tv time

search for a mythtv setup tutorial. i found one that guided me through every step needed in order to set up the proper drivers and so forth to get mythtv working with my Hauppage WINTV-150 card. If I can find the guide I used I'll post it here later, as I remember it being a good one, but don't be afraid to google it, as that's how I found it in the first place.
