OpenOffice 2.2 doesn't work

I've downloaded the new OpenOffice 2.2 and installed it as described here: http://download.openoffice.org/common/instructions.html#linux

but now it doesn't start up anymore. What should I do ?

I forgot to mention: I have fedora 6 and previously I had openoffice 2.0 that comes with fedora 6
