Hi all!

So, I've used Linux for about a month now, and I've settled with Fedora Core 6.
I have installed the latest TransGaming Cedega, hoping that I will be able to play the only game i really want to play - Diablo 2 (with exp).
When I put the disc in my drive, it reads well enough, and Cedega is able to detect it when I use the 'Install' option. However, the cd will not mount (see the screenshot). This is quite a problem, because I need to mount and unmount, if I want to install the game.

My sys specs are:
Acer Aspire 9300
AMD Turion 64 Dual Core (1,6 ghz)
2 gig ram
nVidia GeForce Go 7300
and I've (ofcourse) installed the x86_64 version of FC6.

Thanks in advance!

Sorry to break it to you: You don't need Cedega to play Diablo 2. Good ol' Wine will do just fine (better in DDRaw mode, though or with the use a Glide Wrapper). All you need to do is to start the installation process from the filemanager window and choosing to open the install.exe program with wine, if it is not already selected and opened by a dobule click. No need to worry about disk mounts or anything, I believe that Cedega still seeks for /media/cdrom and /media/cdrom1 mount points to mount optical drives, which in turn require a line in /etc/fstab to properly work. Wine works just fine with the Gnome-mount method in Fedora, and is less prone to mess things up.

For this particular game you shouldn't need to do anything special other than installing Wine with priut (add/remove software), note that you only really need wine-core and maybe wine-tools, the rest of the packages are convenient, but not "necessary" to run these types of Windows apps.
