In windows, I have been using ultravnc's single-click option to help people remotely. The single-click program is a stand alone program that sends a request to a system running vnc server in listen mode. It is good because it doesn't require the user to install anything and it is a single occurrence vnc control.

Is it possible to do something like this in fedora? I hate having to boot into windows to except the connections. Any thoughts?

You could run VNC.

You could run VNC.
I use vnc to connect to connect to systems that are already running a server. What I want to do is run a vnc server in listen mode to accept connections to take over someone else's desktop.
