Im running Fedora Core 6.
I Just installed wine and afterwards Steam.

When I try to run a game i get an error-box which says something like:
"Your video hardware does not meet the minimum requirements that we have set for the game. etc...etc...

Your Driver Details
Windows Version: Windows XP
Description: Direct3D HAL
"

I've got a ATI x850 and I've got beryl and all the eye candy working, så that graphics card is working properly.

[thomas@dhcppc0 ~]$ glxinfo | grep rend
libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x4b
direct rendering: Yes
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa DRI R300 20060815 AGP 1x x86/MMX+/3DNow!+/SSE TCL

I am not running fglrx because I couldn't get Beryl to work.

When trying to run Glxgears I get an alarming error:
[thomas@dhcppc0 ~]$ glxgears
libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x4b
