Hi. I am using the Realtek driver with the 2.6.18-1..2798 xen kernel in FC6 and it works ok. I now want to move to the 2.6.19-1.2911 non-xen kernel but the Realtek driver will not compile with this. The ieee files do compile but the r8187 driver will not. Has anyone managed to make this driver work with the current kernel and if so, how? I have tried contacting Realtek but have had no reply!
I have also tried ndiswrapper which seems to install (using the Realtek Win98 driver) but fails to find my access point with the scan function.

Hi ramasees. Thank yuo for your reply . The Error that I am getting is when using makedrv. It fails with the message "struct net_device has no member named "get wireless_stats"". This is in the section that uses r8187_core.c to produce the r8187 driver module.Something has been changed in the move from kernel 2.6.18 to 2.6.19 as everything worked on 18.
