printer drivers installation

I am trying to install a Brother HL2030 on Fedora Core 6, I have a AMD turion 64
So I download and install the LPR and CUPS driver from here (http://solutions.brother.com/linux/en_us/index.html) but it doesn't work. Certainly because it's a driver for the i386 architecture. But i don't know how to solve it.

Most of the times you need a postscript file to load as a driver. But did you checked the available drivers in Fedora Core? Sometimes you can use other drivers for your printer. I use the HP LaserJet Plus for my Xerox Docuprint N17.
