Nethack help... cant get tiles to work

Hey all. Im running FC5 and I decided to get some classic games.

I installed nethack via yum. When I start it, it starts in text mode in a konsole. The graphics file was included with it, and I uncommented it in the config file, but it wont work. Im using kde 3.5.6. Any idea whats causing this?

I don't think I can help, but I have to ask, Nethack has graphics these days?

Theres a tile interface, which is probably the easiest to use since its just snazzed up ASCII. Then theres the vultures eye interface. The vultures eye one has full 3d graphics, sound, mouse control etc. I find it harder to use and a bit of sacrilege on Nethack, but still cool.

If you want to check out the vultures thing run yum -y install nethack-vultures
