xenFc6 xserver can't start

Very recently I have installed FC6 on my machine with dual boot. I tried to update through add/remove software. After update was complete, I restarted my machine and the grub page showed a new entry with xenFc6 kernel. When I selected this option the machine after loading for a few minutes says that the x-server can't start. I tried the X - config and it created a new X.org.conf file but while I tried to run this it gave a message that Fatal Error, no modes found on either pipe. My old kernel is running fine without any glitch. Is there any workaround for this problem ? I will sincerely appreciate any help/ suggestion as this issue is biting me all the time.
