My configuration is:

1 x 250gb SATA Dive with Windows XP installed
1 x 100gb ATA drive - formatted NTFS for data in Windows
1 x 80gb ATA Drive I want to use for FC6

I had this problem with FC5, and am now having the same issue installing FC6 on my new system.

The installation goes fine, all my drives are detected and the relevant screens for installing GRUB are shown and configured (I opt for installing GRUB in the MBR). However, when installation completes, I do not see the bootloader, and Windows is booted immediately. I never get the option to boot Linux....

I have tried the installation several times but with the same result each time.

Any ideas anyone?

Simon

Perhaps your harddrive boot order is out ( swap the boot order in the mobo bios ), the grub is installed to harddrive (hd0) by default

Have checked the drive boot order in BIOS and confirmed it is correct and matches boot order given in advanced bootloader options in FC6 installation - reinstalled yet again and still no GRUB screen.

Any help really greatly appreciated - getting desperate now!
