Hi,
I am just starting to use Linux and would like to set it up in the following way.
I want to install Fedora Core 6 on second hard drive.
I downloaded DVD iso image file for Fedora Core 6.
How to proceede with this.
My original Operating System is Windows XP Professional with SP2
In addition, how can I create bootable DVD with this image so that I can run Fedora Core 6 from DVD without installing it physicaly to second or any other hard drive.
I know these questions probably sound repetative to lots of you here but I would really appreciate some help with this.
I have another question.
If I am using bootable DVD to run Fedora Core 6 and if I want to play with Terminal little, where would the file that I create be saved. I would asume on the hard drive but where exactly.
Thanks! :)

It sounds like you need the LIVECD version. Try this
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/projects/live/FC-6-i386-livecd-1.iso
However I don't know where would it store. Perhaps in a FAT32 partition you have (it needs at least a partition to write into) or consider a large USB FLASH memory.
