Hello everybody,
I'm new here, so first I would thank you guys for supporting us dumb users. I have a problem. I just installed FC6 on my 2001 Mac G4 and it installed fine (except for the usual yaboot and OF path issues). However, running now FC6 I can only boot once and if I shut my system down, I only see a black screen when I try to reboot (warm and cold). So what I always do now, is resetting the PMU on the board to clear the nvram and FC 6 boots up again. Is there a problem in the PMU management in FC6 for a G4 ? Do I need to turn off some Power management features ? Any suggestions ?
