Well I got it installed.. it took some work but it's up. There are a couple of things that perplex me and maybe someone here will have gone through this trial before.
1) A couple of apps would not launch when I executed their launch from the main GNOME menu (specifically Firefox and GAIM.. I am sure there are others but I have not found then.
The answer to this is.. I notided both 32 and 64 bit versions were installed. Once I removed the redundant versions of each app the launchers worked again. Is it normal for the FC6 PPC installer to install both 32 and 64 bit versions of GAIM, etc?
2) Dual-head configuration did not work out of the box with my Radeon 9600. But after tweaking the xorg.conf a bit I got it working.
Any thoughts on issue # 1 are appreciated!
