Help with Nvidia :(

Alright well i am a newb in desperate need of assistance. I am trying to change the resolution on my Nvidia GeForce 4 integrated chip and also my Voodoo 3 card. I realize the voodoo card is rather old, however, Windows has no problem running the two cards at 1024. I have tried installing the drivers for my nvidia card...but have had zero luck. I even tried the one in this forum. So i am begging for any help that i can get. I just want linux to run in the 1024 resolution on both monitors...Thanks in advance. :)
