Hi All,
Been using Fedora a while now and have just decided to install FC6 on my laptop. Media test is good, install is good then we have the first boot after install. I use the grub screen to boot winXP, no problem, restart the computer and choose, FC6 again no problem. Answer the questions and do the sound card test, again all is good 'UNTIL' we click on finish (after the sound card test) and we are presented with a blank screen. This is one of those things that confuses me. I mean the X server works (worked?), after all we were using a GUI to to do the post install set up.
Can some please give me pointers on how to resolve this problem.
I've now tried this with i386 and i86-64 distros with exactly the same results.
The computer has a AMD Turion64 processor, ATI X700 graphics card, WXGA lcd display :)
