once i completed updated my systems kmod-nvidia driver was also updated to kmod-nvidia-1.0.9746-1.2.6.19_1.2895.fc6

Once all update was finished when i reboot evrytime now Xserverfails to start and i have try many times and by creating a fresh config it starts up and says new config saved to /etc/x11/xorg.conf and old is renamed as xorg.conf.backup but this has to be done evry time i reboot

can anyone tell me what is wrong ...
thanks in advance

Do you have non xen kernel installed, and if so can you boot into it without problems?

I had this problem. I don't know what card you have, but you probably need to remove kmod-nvidia and install kmod-nvidia-96xx. The new Nvidia drivers have stopped supporting GeForce 2, 3, or 4 cards, and the kmod-nvidia-96xx package contains the drivers that do support them.

So:
yum remove kmod-nvidia xorg-x11-drv-nvidia
yum install kmod-nvidia-96xx xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-96xx

See this article: http://forum.fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?t=99285&highlight=96xx

Nvidia (http://www.nvidia.com/page/geforce4mx.html) seems to treat that one like the GeForce4 MX, which definitely uses the legacy drivers. Try replacing those packages and see if it helps.
