I have built a new system:
Biostar TForce 550 MB
AMD 64x2 3200 CPU
WD 80GB SATA HDD
Lite on CD-RW
1GB Ram
When I try to install FC6 Iget boot from cd then a few seconds latter I get "boot disk failure, insert system disk and press enter". I have even trided FC2, win 98 and win xp same thing.

I'll assume you've checked that the power lead to the drive is plugged in and that the SATA connection is too. Assuming that you've set the BIOS to boot from the CD-RW before your hard drive, it sounds like your hard drive may be bad. Does your hard drive show up in the BIOS properly? Have you run a test on it from the tools at your drive manufacturer's site? Last year I had a new WD 80 gig die within a week - it happens, but they quickly honored the warranty.

Yes I did but I just figured it out the cd-rw is bad.
Thank You,
Dean

LOL! Well, yeah, that was another option I hadn't even thought of. Good deal - at least you're on top of the situation.
