boot problem with duo core

I can not boot into linux , although i have installed it but when my virtual cpu mode is on (in bios) my linux get stuck with displaying "RED HAT NASH 5.something etc"

but when i disable the dual processor option it runs well , can anyone tell me how to solve this problem.

As late as FC5 there was a separate kernel-smp package for multiple processors. Which isn't necessary on FC6. Try installing it.
