I have a Xerox Phaser 3116 Laser Printer and want it to be installed with fc6.
I went the web site: http://www.support.xerox.com/ and obtained the driver package: Linux_Printer_Package.tgz
I went to "system-config-printer" and select add a new printer and select the factory supplied driver, it only accept the drivers either with .ppd or .gz extensions.
Please advise me how to make use the offical printer driver to install my printer...
