Hi all,

I have built an FC6 system but I have discovered that I've got a heat issue with one of the CPU's.

I have another case and motherboard that I could move the hard discs over to.
At the moment I've got 2 drives in a Raid 1 mirror in the current system - what I'm wondering is whether I can just take the drives out, stick them in the new machine and let kudzu do it's thing or will I have problems?

The new machine is a single processor P4 1.8Ghz Dell Optiplex. The old machine is on an Asus CUR-DLS board with 2 x P3 1Ghz chips.

All suggestions gratefully received.

Thanks,

Anthony

Hello,

I have a DELL OPTIPLEX and FC6 works great on it. All hardware are recognized. So I think you should not have any trouble if you plug the hard drives on it.
