FC6: text installer: unable to put LVM over RAID arrays

Due to some strange "frequency out of range" issue I am in "linux text" installer. Everything was going well until I tried putting LVM over my RAID arrays. The text installer lets you declare a type of "physical volume" which sets up the LVM Volume Group over RAID but then nowhere does it give you the ability to setup the logical volume and assign as filesystem type or mount point. Anyone successfully done this through the text installer or is there some functionality missing here?

The text installer is missing some functionality to allow you to put LVM over RAID. I finally was able to get the graphical installer going and was then able to complete the partitioning successfully.
