hi all.
Anyone experiencing problems with keyborad layouts for different languges? FC 2 test 3
I guess Xorg broke setxkbmap but I don't know how to fix it.
Thanks for suggestions,
Artem

what is your default layout config?

I think I fixed the problem - I symlinked /etc/X11/xkb/rules/xorg.lst to /etc/X11/xkb/rules/xfree86.lst and /etc/X11/xkb/rules/xorg.xml to /etc/X11/xkb/rules/xfree86.xml, than reminded Kxkb (for KDE anyway) that I am using Generic 105 key keyboard, enabled layouts and now it's all working.
the only -and very minor thing - country flags are not displayed, only letters...
hey, I can live with that ;-)

p.s. Gnome keyboard layout switcher works now as well ;-)

I had this problem too and it seems that artemkazantsev's solution works geat!
Thanks.

Btw, for all newbies, symlinked means ln command.
Just type:
ln /etc/X11/xkb/rules/xorg.lst /etc/X11/xkb/rules/xfree86.lst
and:
ln /etc/X11/xkb/rules/xorg.xml /etc/X11/xkb/rules/xfree86.xml
under root permission, and got it.
