Hp Scanjet 5300C

Hello,

I am trying to use my HP Scanjet 5300C. When I open xsane or gscan2df, they see my scanner, but can't scan. When i scan with gscan2pdf I get an error in th terminal:

Unknown message: scanimage: sane_start: Error during device I/O

Who can help me to solve this problem?
