I reciently replaced my windows box with a nice Imac. I did some experimenting with linux back about 5 year ago, and with my windows box now out of a job, I decided to put Fedora 6 on it.
Everything works fine except for my Wireless card. For some odd reason, my wife won't let me run LAN cable all over the house, so our home network runs off of wireless router. I am trying to set up a Linksys DWL-G510 Ver B card using ndiswrapper.
When I compiled ndiswrapper, I did get a 4k stack warning (I am using the 586 kernel with an AMD XP processor).
Following the instructions that came with ndiswrapper, everthing seems to go well until I try to load mdiswrapper using modprobe. My system then locks up.
Any idea what I did wrong? is the 4k stack error possibly causing this lock up? Is there a work around?
Thanks,
C. Alan
