I used the above wireless card for my acer Aspie 5040 notebook. Which is a Artheros Ar5212 chipset. I compared madwifi from tarball, livna and atrpms all of them give me the same results.
The card works but not stable. i managed to ping www.google.com with feedback but firefox cannot retrive anything from the net. Firefox show "waiting for www.google.com" and hanging there. Sometimes it works but most of the time not. i know i am almost there.
Any solution?
