Hello:
Seems odd because it shouldn't fail the dependency check?
j2re >= 1.4.1 is needed by LimeWire-free-4.12.6-0.i386
and you have
* 1 /usr/lib/jvm/jre-1.4.2-gcj/bin/java
2 /opt/jre1.5.0_10/bin/java
3 /opt/jre1.5.0_09/bin/java
+ 4 /opt/jre1.6.0/bin/java
What do have when you type from a root terminal?
/usr/sbin/alternatives --display java

i believe limewire need suns java, and since you did not install suns java via rpm, it will not be in the rpm database, So i dont think its possible to install via rpm although you could try the nodeps ooption, since you know that jre 1.6.0 is installed. be sure to reset the alternatives to 1.6.0 before you do this though. personally i just dont use the rpm version
