seems that compatibility with OpenGL is not the best.. what version of wine do you have? also do you have all opengl libraries installed?
Chen

I updated the latest wine from fc6 extra repo.
for openGL libraries, i only know fireGL. Where and how to install 'all' libraries?
Thanks.

Chen, do you by any chance use an Intel motherboard/video card?
Chen

I am using ATI Radeon 9200 and AMD Athon 1700+. I am not using intel motherboard/graphic card at this moment.

Hi , did you disable composite in xorg.conf, What graphic card driver do you use and does it support your model graphics card. And if you are using XGL , this may cause issues?
see link and check.?
http://ati.de/support/driver.html
also did you install all of wine
su -
yum install wine*
I did not answer post before because there was not enough detail to workout any possible solution. (if you list OS type and hardware it helps )

It looks like your problem may lie in your driver. Any chance your driver isn't up to date? You might need to update it or to install a new one from livna or from the manufacturer.

sorry , from your original xorg.conf I notice that you have the wrong video driver "radeon"
on last post you state that you use the livna driver the correct entry for this is "fglrx"
Have you check to see if you have the right kernel for this driver you need i686 , if you have the i586 kernel you will need to reinstall the livna driver.
to check kernel use this howto
http://forum.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=139751
also check here to see if this driver version even supports your graphics card as the latest livna driver will not support your card.

2)Regards to the .586 and .686 problem. I met this probelm when i first installed fc6. I am alert of this. I install my new kernal, flgrx driver manually with smart-PM

I read a post b4 (i cannot find it back) not to install a tarball driver from nvidia or ati coz it will mess up the os. Ati drive will write "ati" instead of "radeon" and if anything goes wrong, it is unrecoverable or something like that. He suggested us to install drivers in rpm version so that it can be uninstall if anything not right. I will only try that with my spare pc then.

If you use this option with the ati installer it makes four rpm's that can be removed with add & remove software. they are the equal of the livna driver.
su
sh ati-8.28.run --buildpkg Fedora/FC6
you might get error . and need to do this
