test2 has already been released, test3 should be out soon, within a week or so. The schedule (http://fedora.redhat.com/participate/schedule/) says April 26. This may have been moved back a little, our calendar (http://www.fedoraforum.org/forum/calendar.php) says the 19th. Soon.

As always, use a mirror (http://fedora.redhat.com/download/mirrors.html) or bittorrent (http://torrent.dulug.duke.edu/).

Exciting, isn't it? I can't wait for 2 final. :)

Hey,
thanx for that update :D

How do u use BitTorrent? I'm trying to download Lindows4.5 with it, but get download speeds of not more than 0.1,0.3 kbps on my 64kbps connection. Can u tell where i'm going wrong? I'm using Linux, running PCQLinux2004, kenel2.6.2, KDE3.2

i ran only btdownloadheadless.py (am i being a leacher???)

Well, I don't know about lindows, but bittorrent downloads from the other people who are trying to download that very same file. The speed depends on how many people are downloading and how much you are uploading, as bittorrent rewards people who allow uploads at bigger speeds with faster download speeds. To get fedora test2 this long after release you're better off using one of the mirrors.

I hope this doesn't push back the release too much. I'm waiting for kernel 2.6 and alsa.

About bittorrent, it is the best way to download huge, instantly popular files right after the release. But like foolish said, you may be better off choosing a mirror now.

Azureus is a very fine bittorrent client. You can find it at azureus.sourceforge.net.

The release date for FC2 final also seems to have changed. It's may 17th now. (Nice birthday present...)
