aight, I have decided to finally dual boot my Windows XP System with Fedora Core 6. Great. However, whenever I try to burn the Boot disks, I can't get the image to burn, I know that it is not that hard, I've tried it before with FC5, couldn't get it to work, switched back. I am currently running these specs

1 60GB and 1 80gb harddrives(trying to install on the 80)
314mb memory (2x 256, and 1 64, SDRAM)
ATI 128mb Graphics
Pentium 3

the software that I burn with is NERO Express 2, or summit similar to that... Please help...

Hello:
There are instructions including Nero located here to assist with the burning process: ftp://ftp.free.fr/mirrors/fedora.redhat.com/fedora/linux/core/6/i386//iso/README-BURNING-ISOS-en_US.txt

that's great and all, but I seem to have gotten the Binary instead of the ISO's, what do I do now?

Well, you could try a network install.

Copy all those RPMs and everything - keeping the directory structure intact - to an FTP, NFS or other volume sharing server. Then download the boot.iso from a mirror - use it to make a bootable CD and then choose that shared volume/ftp server as the source.

I do network installs all the time - but I just mount the DVD iso as a directory on my FTP server and go to town. Since you've all the discrete files already - should work the same.
