The first time i plug my digital camera in to fedora core 5 it kinda worked ok.

I was able to browse the cam and move my pics from the cam to my desktop.
But something happend, i have no idea what.
a few of the pics just wouldn't show or trasfer, so i deleted them.
After the disk space on my cam was still low, and it still is.

And i just don't get it, before i was able to store about 90 pics on my cam but now i can only store 25. If you take a look at my attachment you can tell the it kinda looks wierd.
Used 36,4 MB
Space 123,7 mb
free space 1,4 mb.

Does anyone have and explanation? And a fix would be great too.

Some thing completely else. i posted awhile ago about how to sync my phone via bluetooth to a calendar and adressebook on my computer. My thread had no replies, but maybe someone are able to point me to somewhere usefull, please feel free.

Thanks in advance.

I think linux or gnome has created a trash bin on the camera. Reconnect it and empty the trash. Then browse to the camera and delete the trash bin. Through preferences in nautilus you can create a delete command that deletes immediately.

I have justed tried to delete the .username.bin or what ever it was called. Still the same.

But thanks for your response

I still think the trash is the issue. I don't know what username.bin is. The trash is preceded by a dot. So unless you have configured your browser window to show hidden files you will not see it. In the browser menu go to Edit>preferences>view and click the button show hidden and backup files. Even before that, when you connect your camera and the browser opens go to you desktop and right click the trash and select empty.
