Hi.

I have an HP psc 2175, that is properly recognized when i connect the usb, gets installed and all, and i can print from Firefox, Gedit and Abiword, but somehow if i try to print from Open Office or from the pdf reader i can't do it. The printer name is there so i can select it, but doesn't let me use it. Ie tried to reinstall cups but gives me the same result.
In printer configuration it's set to "default printer" and i don't have selinux activated ...

Any ideas? I really need to print from Open Office ...

Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the printer? It worked for me.

I tried just now and the result keeps the same. Doesn't let me choose the damn printer ... Thanks for the tip, though ...
