update fc 5.5 to fc6.. linksys

hi, thanks for any help

i have a dual boot sytem, wink2k and linux fc4, which i updated to fc5.5.. maybe

i followed some instructions and yum says i updated to 5.5, but the update method i tried said i didnt update to 5, so it won't let me update to 6...

i'd like to update to fc6 without zapping my win 2k partition


in the windows partition i get onto the internet via a linksys wmp54g wireless adaptor, however i am plugged into the wall temporarily,

should i just leave well enough alone?

personally im against the upgrade, can you back up your needed files and do a fresh install, it will leave you win install alone, as long as you dont tell it to do otherwise

i suspect that's the best way to go, and maybe wait a couple mos til all the dust is settled too, thanks
