arescom NetDSL1000 and FC1

i just cant make it work...

any help?

i have a davicom ethernet card (cnet pro200) but i cant make it work too, FC1 only detect a generic ethernet card 10/100mb (eth0), if i install a davicom card it stay inactive.

iwas using mandrake 9.2 until the last week and all work fine there, no problems at all...

sorry if i make no sense in my post, is just i was all night awake trying to make it work and now it is 10 am:o and my english is not good really.

please help!

I was going to recommend using the Davicom driver in Main Menu > Sustem Settings > Network but apparently you already tried that.

What's the problem with the generic driver, does it not have certain functionality? Does it even work?

Any details about the Mandrake configuration? I'm not familiar with the distro, but it may help. Any eth0 lines in /etc/modules.conf that worked would be helpful.
