I have a problem with fc 6 and i am new to fedora. I installed fc 6 from scratch with no problem. But i got an error message Kernel panic - not syncing cannot execute PAE-enabled kernel on a PAE-less CPU. Can anybody help me with this

Well, I suppose the first question is.....do you have a PAE enabled CPU, and if so...do you actually need to use a PAE enabled kernel (ie have more than 4gb of physical memory)

I don't have PAE-enabled CPU. and there are no setting in the bios to enable that.

How do you disable PAE support in the XEN kernel? It would be nice to know because otherwise it installs the default kernel of i586 and that doesnt support cpu scaling.
