about installation cds

i want to know, if i can install fedora with the the number 1 cd only? or i need all of them? or i need them all?
because if i have to download all the cds its too megabytes to download, a lot, the dvd have 3.4GB more or less. its huge. i need fedora for desktop, i want to try the xfce graphical interface, im new on linux, help me with that ok,

You can download CD1, boot it, and type "askmethod" at the prompt. Then choose to download the files from the internet as long as you have an active connection visible by Fedora. The downloads will still be quite large, though.

Hello:
If you want to play around with the install options [Customize now] then you may get away with the first disc only. However, this will be trial and error on your part.
Normally you can get away with the first 2 discs.

Others may have additional information to help you out.
