Although I've been using Fedora Core on my server and a MythTV box, I just recently switched from Gentoo to FC6 on my deskotp machine to check it out. I've also not used gnome for a while, been using KDE, but I wanted to try out the new gnome since I was setting up a new desktop install.

I play WoW on Cedega and I have cedega setup to provide a "fake" 1280x1024 full screen. In KDE I can configure it to remove the borders and titlebar for that one application. This comes in handy as I have a dual monitor setup and losing the other monitor while playing WoW isn't very usefull.

Is there any way to configure Metacity to do the same? Everything else is working, but I can't see some of the bottom and tiny bit of the sides.

I did a search and found discussion about this on an older fedora core, I think FC4, and the solution was to use sawfish instead of metacity, is that still being developed?

Thanks!

openbox to the rescue! I replaced metacity with openbox and it allows you to remove window decorations.
