low resolution, can i make it higher?

I have a G4 450mhz, 512ram, and a PCI Rage 3D Pro card.
The max resolution i can do is 800x600, is there anyway to go higher, like 1024x768?

You'll have to edit your xorg.conf, you can find it by clicking on Computer, filesystem, etc, X11. Then you'll have to edit the modes section of it, and reboot. Keep in mind tho, you have to be root to edit that file.

When i open up xorg.conf there is nothing in there about resolution or modes.

click on Desktop>Administration>Display
enter root password
you can now change screen resolution, check if the hardware is correct
